i know i'm late to this, but finally picked it up!  Anyone else read Dalio’s “Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order: Why Nations Succeed and Fail” yet?

“Seven of these 10 countries saw wealth virtually wiped out at least once, and even the countries that didn’t see wealth wiped out had a handful of terrible decades for asset returns that essentially destroyed them financially.” 😱

Great read.  We need to earnestly de-escalate the the long-term order-disorder external cycle

Dalio posted an update to the book today, which suggests that the world order is dangerously close to reaching phase 6, where civil wars and great power wars are most likely 

I’m currently planning a move as well as career and investment strategy for the next 5-10 years - this article provides lots of food for thought on how to adapt. I would love to hear others takeaways on how we think about adapting or even trying to mitigate to these challenges:
