@D J there are a lot propaganda like this but it's different to see people share it as his personal experience.  I used to hate those propaganda in the school text books(so boring and we have to recite it )... as I learned more about the real history of the time and read the real historic records in recent years, all that left is the respect for the first generation leadership of the CCP

Maybe it’s just rare to have it in English though, I would imagine there are lots more in Chinese records and propaganda 🤔

@Jolie it’s unsurprisingly very pro-china.  The interviews with Mao are basically literally transcribed so you get a rare look at his optimistic vision
