Book Club Discusses The Anxious Generation

For the last week, the top non-fiction #The Book Club 📚 k on the New York Times bestseller list has been The Anxious Generation, by Jonathan Haidt. In it, Haidt makes a compelling case that the use of smartphones and social media have caused a mental health crisis for teens. “Once young people began carrying the entire internet in their pockets, available to them day and night, it altered their daily experiences and developmental pathways across the board,” Haidt writes.
