Of course it doesn’t cover all cases. No book could ever do that. The book tries to convey what works in most cases, driven from science on how the brain works and from proven years of experience. 

If you work in an organization where design and fine art supersede ease of understanding, then of course you need to adapt to that. I am really curious to understand those cases. Could you share some you have been exposed to?

All of this knowledge will fail infront of operations leaders who are extremely non technical and just want to see fancy graphs. Also, the single sentence philosophy will definitely prove wrong in today's corporate world where people just do the opposite which is extend ideas that could be delivered in single sentence in long complicated messages to show off their work and team culture.
